Our friends over at the Lawrence Community Theatre will open a one-woman show this coming weekend called "Cups", written by Joni Sheram, directed by Annette Cook and starring Peggy Sampson. I've worked with both Annette and Peggy, so I know it must be quality.

Amidst a persistent threat of inclement weather, the 3rd Annual Birdies Awards were held on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at the Stowergrass Amphitheatre in North Lawrence, Kansas. The looming storm did not scare off an enthusiastic crowd who feasted on grilled and homemade delicacies in anticipation of the awards.

It is time again to vote for your favorite actors/directors/technicians in this year's Birdie awards. These awards recognize achievement in the areas of writing, directing, acting, technical and theatrical production.
Attached is the ballot listing the nominees in each category. Please read through these nominees and choose your favorites.
